SkyWest is very good at keeping bad media hush hush. If you want to find out you pretty much will have to know the guy personally. I think he will easily have 5 years minimum behind bars.

As far as I know SkyWest is still hiring. SAN is no longer a base, and generally on the jet the further west you go the more senior the base. The last couple RJ classes seem to have had a spread between ORD, DEN and COS, maybe a couple outliers here and there. On the Bro you could get LAX right out of training, I know a couple new hires in the last class that got it. FAT and PSP seem to be the most junior for the EMB.

Huh? It's a federal criminal issue...a bit out of SGU's control I think. Besides the SLC Tribune seems to eagerly and aggressively jacklight anything negative about SKW they can dredge up, and SKW can't seem to control that in their own backyard.
The reason it's "hush hush" is because it's just one more low-level (non violent) drug crime case among many. If he gets convicted (assuming he hasn't already plead out) there will probably be another wire service story that everyone will run. Information on the progress of the case should be publicly available...why don't you go check it out and let us know?
