Both planes are going to have lots of movement. The CRJ has far less reserves currently. If you live in base and don't care about delta benefits it probably doesn't matter what plane you take. The 175 may even be better due to longer trips and less legs and not flying much on reserve. If you're going to commute and want a line quickly you'll definitely want to take the CRJ. Commuting to reserve is the worst thing you can do at a regional.
If Delta and American benefits are important to you then take the CRJ. I won't give up my Delta benefits until they pry them from me.

Just curious, how long does it take a new hire to hold Seattle? How long to hold a line there? What are current upgrade predictions?

That being said. Most our growth is in the PNW. So SEA is a growing base. (Good thing) upgrade.. I would say 3years...

PBS broke but nothing is being done
Follow up to the conversation from a couple days ago. Apparently PBS did screw up one pilots bid and KH is having AOS look into it. I just wanted to put that out there for all those that think that anytime you get a crappy bid, it's because you screwed something up.
So this one bid will get fixed for this senior pilot. All the pilots junior to this pilot that had their bid affected will not know what it did to their bid. The system will not be fixed and we will do the same thing next month. Management will continue to brag about how we can do the same amount of flying with 10% less pilots because we have a system that ignores seniority and forces us to work junior man flying for straight time.
Oh and the most junior base for ERJ and CRJ is ORD since that is all anyone seems to care about.

This will never get fixed until awards are published for all to see.

Funny how utilitarian ultra right wing people can get when it affects their bottom line.
A world of hard lines, in theory.

Won't happen, due to some stalking incident a while back.
At Mesa, we could see everyone else's schedule, but the concept of guaranteed lineholder doesn't exist there, and the #1 bidder could still end up on reserve if he/she messes up their bid badly (or bids for it).
