Skywest
Rather than play the sit-at home with my bags packed game, I called up Skywest and asked to defer until 1Q2016. They seemed amenable to that.
I've been told the ERJ class sizes were reduced drastically in order to deal with IOE backlogs. (A good thing in my experience).
If I was interested in a CRJ slot, I could have started last month.

This^^^^ Each class you get pushed back you're hurting your number by 50-100 people. When/if the music ever stops before you get to a place you want, that could make a HUGE difference. Food for thought.

PDX is the only base where it might be smart to hold out for the 175. I don't think I'd wait multiple months though.

Also the ERJ has about 70 FOs on reserve right now in the junior bases for some reason. The CRJ has hardly any reserves. I've picked up two time and a half trips in the last week. If you had taken the CRJ last month you'd be a line holder already. Waiting 2 more months for the E175 where you'll sit reserve for 6 months doesn't sound like an intelligent move. A little SJS?
