2015 shows 37 -700's coming of contract. Its nov. havent heard about a single one leaving yet.. And there painting/adding more seats to them... 2016 only shows 19-700's coming of contract... Still think we will have net growth here. Hence all the crazy hiring...

If we keep hiring over 100/month it really isn't that hard to fathom. Like I said, jr cpt will likely be over the 2500 mark soon.

You can dream..... If they run 40 upgrades a month it will still be over a year to get to the 2012 hires.

Lol. Ok. There are almost 450 FOs who have bypassed. They are not all waiting to be able to hold a line. It's trends and statistics, but you can call it whatever you want.

They were upgrading as fast as possible and it only hit 2400 a couple times. If it goes back to that it'll be about a 3 year upgrade.

You have been on property a year. Let me know how those dreams work out to reality.... The upgrade will be just like the 175. No one bid for it but after it gets established the Bolton of the list is forever reserve.

450 pilots have bypassed because none of them want to be reserves ever again. When the most junior line holder drops there will be many more standing bids put in.

I'm not trying to crush your dreams, It's just the reality. New guys being told that we are going to a two year upgrade is just wrong.

Even with 40 more 175's that's only 200 more captains.

This doesn't make sense, if they keep the current pace of upgrades. 2012 hires will be upgrading in 3-4 months, which will keep the upgrade time around 4 years, maybe slightly below.

Where can we see DOH? I've yet to find a seniority list that shows it.

The point was there will always be people who bypass for whatever reason. I have no "dreams" to crush. I planned on 5 to 7 years when I came here. It's not really rocket science. While I think 2 years is a bit of a stretch, I don't think 3 is out of the realm of possibility.
