I am starting to wonder if PBS is being intentionally rigged to reward low/mid seniority at the expense of seniors.
FOs: Extends the honeymoon phase for a few years with artificially high QOL. About the time you get senior enough to upgrade, your FO seniority isn't really improving your life so might as well upgrade.
CAs: They need them to stick around for a while, but much after ten years they'd rather you move on and make way for upgrades to keep the new-hires (and not-yet-hires) happy.

Bid 68% DEN RJ/CA, got 14 off with 86'ish credit. Not bad, as I even scored Turkey Day off for the first time in quite awhile. And thankfully the next day too for the likely required recovery period.

I've heard of a few that are leaving FAR 135's for Skywest and it seems all are winding up in ORD... is this by choice or are all new hires just going there because it's the bottom base?

How did everyone's schedule turn out for the month? A brain cramp on my end (probably from being up until 2:00 am since I waited till the last day) made me work an extra 2 days, but that isn't anything a platinum day or two won't fix. But overall I am pleased other than being required to work 89 hours for the month. Everyone else get what they wanted?

Hello, I'm curious about the roster system, do you fly night lines? Can you choose to fly only at night or is it how the scheduler gives to you?
Thanks for replies.

I'm not super happy with my award but it's not PBS or my own fault I don't think. I like locals and the number of locals in my base was reduced significantly. I'm only senior enough to hold the min credit ones now. My line completed in layer 3 with all locals but I'm working far more days this month and last than I used to because of the drop in number of locals forcing me to get the lower paying ones.

I think it's more like people know when they are junior that they won't get what they ask for and therefore aren't as restrictive in their bids. As they get more senior they get more and more selective/ restrictive which ends up ruining their bids allowing good trips to go junior.
