SkyWest Airlines today has 317 airframes.

The combined SkyWest INC. May have 700 Airframes I don't know the exact number.

Yes, they have 317, of which 168 are 200s. What is going to happen if they start cutting on the 200s? Will they be replaced with 7/900s?

Hey SKW bros, what's the latest on the LAX eagle -200 flying? A SKW CA told me those -200s were coming to PHX, the PHX -200s were going to get parked, and the 4 PHX -900s were going into the Delta system. What is the net gain/loss in PHX aircraft for you? When is that transfer happening? I'm curious if that will up your and our (YV) block hours in PHX if AA routes those pax thru PHX as a hub instead of LAX, or is AA giving CPZ some of those -200 routes with the 175s, or are they just giving up some of those cities pairs/frequencies?

344 to be precise(from their website). If they phase out all the 200s, that will reduce the CRJ fleet from 302 to 134. I wonder how and what they will replace them with?

All airlines typically hire right up until they fire. 100% normal for new hires in ground school to get sent home for good with no warning. SKW has never actually furloughed a pilot but when the time comes I'm sure they won't be any different.

That artical confuses "inc" with SkyWest. 95% of the 50 seat reduction is at XJT

Yup the majority of the 50 seat reduction is in the erj-145. However the crj-200 is next but that won't be for another 5 years+ before they put them on the chopping block.
