So which side of the argument do you want to be on? It doesn't matter what airplane you fly because, in the end, all RJ time is equal. The 175 is too large to be an RJ and should be at mainline. Look how cool the 175 is, it's pretty much a mainline jet and they'll give me bonus points for being able to fly it?
It's an RJ in the sense that the two guys up front get paid way less than they should!

Can you explain how a jet that holds 70+ people, in multiple classes and operates on routes such as STL-SFO, or IAH-BDL is an RJ?
The 200 is an RJ. The 175 is not. If it is, than a 717 or MD80 is also an RJ.
Other than the 20 min hops the 200 does, there is nothing regional about these aircraft.
