I hope I don't have to wait that long for IOE. I want to get in, start building my hours to upgrade and get out. Goal is 4 years or less. The more lifers the better.

Does anyone know what the wait time is to get a class at skywest? Are all the September classes full? Also what are the chances of getting the 175? And last but not least, from the posts above, do you complete all your training and then you have to wait 12 weeks to start working reserve as a new hire or was that 12 weeks only for the guys upgrading? Thanks

Not everyone is a "lifer" by choice. Some get stuck for numerous reasons and can't get out no matter what. Getting an interview isn't easy and even when you do, many don't make it onwards.

Not me. I'll be moving on. I heard upgrade will be less than 2 years soon. If I haven't moved on by then, I'll upgrade and then move on.

You hit the line or reserve when you are done with IOE, however long that is running right now.
