SkyWest has done a lot to keep our pilot's priority on our aircraft. Ask a TSA or GoJet pilot what their priority is on their own aircraft with a UA pilot listed.
I'm not saying it doesn't suck. I'm saying you haven't been here long enough to call any department at SkyWest pathetic.

United will sometimes work with 1 or 2 people, but as others have stated here, flights always fill up and United loves to buy people off with vouchers. But you will find it more difficult to get days off to travel vs getting on a plane. My travel benefits are mostly used to have my spouse and kids join me on long overnights. You have to get creative with family time when SW only wants to fly 4 days. But a bulk of our non-rev travel is on Delta.

If you work for Delta mainline you can buy positive space at a discounted rate. One more reason to work for the company that has the BIG name on the plane.

You can do the same with UAL, even as an express employee.

On another note, the DVR is out. I thought we were going into the holding pattern if we voted NO? Another month of 0 CRJ upgrades and only 12 on the E175?? So much for that 30 per month on each aircraft that was promised before the vote.

Just saw a SKW ad promising a 3 year upgrade. Considering that there weren't any CRJ upgrades in September and won't be any in October, and that we have no plans for any additional CRJ flying... if I were a prospective hire, I'd take that promise with a giant salt shaker...

Ok, then I guess you guys don't. Sometimes it's much more than 20%, that's a minimum. I thought all express pilots were able to.
