I wouldn't worry about anyone too lazy to go back and read the last 30-40 or so pages of this thread. If they can't do that, I'm sure they won't make the effort to come here.

Republic affecting SkyWest
I know this isn't a Republic thread but this article specifically references SkyWest. Thought it might be a good read for SkyWest pilots. If Republic goes under, those contracts will be shopped around I'm sure. Also, over 2000 pilots looking for work.

Republic is very near the end if the pilots choose no. They're scared.
Seriously?

No. And some of the guys that interviewed with me that day were from 2 other regionals. Republic and I think express jet. The Skywest recruiters mentioned they were losing many first officers to other regionals and some low cost carriers so needed to hire as many as they could.

I have a question about the health insurance that SkyWest has.
My current job my health, dental, vision is all under a specific plan where I can only go to a specific heath provider (BCBS - Sanford) in order to have everything covered with out having to pay out of pocket then submit claims to be reimbursed.
How does it work with SkyWest having pilots all over the country? I am planning on being based in MSP but will be commuting to MSP from FAR. Will I have to go to MSP for health coverage?

They should have doctors in FAR that are in the "network".
