Skywest
I heard that SkyWest is going to start offering the $7500 signing bonus for the Q-400 as well as regional jets. But I am pretty sure that bonus pays out after you have completed IOE, not when you sign on.
Doesn't make sense though, the reason why they offer the bonus is because they have a shortened CRJ program in place for those typed pilots. They save money through expedited training and they "share" a piece of that in the form of bonus.
True, but if they are just wanting to attract additional pilots, it would make perfect sense. They offer the bonus for the ERJ 135/145/170/175/190/195 but they don't have a shortened E-175 training.

Potential new hire here...what are the bases getting awarded out of training? Also what are the chances of some bases opening up in the east coast?
