Go back a few pages and its answered there. Also a few pages before that, and before that.....

If you go back 10 pages and read forward you may have A LOT of your other questions answered too!

Try doing a small amount of digging. Your question was answered a few times literally just a few days ago. I doubt the answer has changed since then

First time post here. Be gentle...

The wife and I are entertaining the idea of moving to SBA. Yes, I realize its outrageously expensive. But, she makes decent money and is on board with me pursuing a career at SkyWest. I had a few questions that I hope you gentlemen (and ladies) can answer:

How soon could I potentially hold LAX?
Is LAX a CRJ only base?
Are there still a bunch of SkyWest flights between SBA and LAX, or did that go away with the Bro?
How is seniority determined for a new hire class? By age?
Lastly, and just purely out of curiosity, when did they drop SBA as a crew base? (I used to throw bags for SkyWest at SBA, circa 2005-2007)

I sincerely appreciate any insight/advice. I apologize in advance if any of my questions have already been answered in this thread. I did make a point of reading the last dozen or so pages to ensure I wasn't asking a question that had already been answered. Thanks again.

Seeing as though you basically asked the same question on the 10th... Your question not only was answered in the following posts, but wouldn't have changed in 6 days. A little more insight for you, if you will.

Or you could have just answered his questions with the time you spent typing that up. I don't know if you work for SkyWest but you are putting bad vibe for the company. Chillax a little!!!

Keep in mind SKW has CRJ bases in Denver, LA and SFO, generally LAX is more senior than the other two. You will have priority on SKW equipment over mainline for the jumpseat, and SkyWest operates nonstops to all three.

Almost forgot about PHX, and Seattle will likely be growing, so lots of choices for commuting out of Santa Barbara.

Just telling him to read a little before asking a question that gets asked a TON. Lots of really good information in the last 25 pages that takes maybe 15 min to read. Personally they should have a sticky with the most asked questions and it would alleviate the need to ask 4 times in 4 days. Now that I say that.... Not a bad idea....
Oh and bad vibe? Man... That's nice. Stick around and see some of the other people around here haha Keyboard Cowboys!

5 CRJ flights/day to LAX. Junior LAX FO is a 1/2015 hire. Seniority is determined in class by last 4 of social security number. LAX is a CRJ only base, base is overstaffed right now but things move quickly in the right seat.
