Skywest
As for reserve, there are currently 63 targeted lineholders on that airframe for September, with 80 pilots on the seniority list. I can tell you that the #72 guy on that list has been on property 11 months. Therefore, it follows that you may be on reserve on the 175 for quite some time in SFO. Of course, this set of numbers reflects the fall reduction in schedules, so reserve numbers are up in most domiciles.
As a 175 new hire, plan on ORD for at least a couple months.
As for how much flying you'll do on reserve, it's impossible to say. My second month on reserve, I flew 33 hours. My third month on reserve, I flew 99 hours. It also depends on seasonality, i.e. you'll be used a lot more on reserve in July than in February.

I just got a little pop-up type postcard in the mail from Skywest trying to recruit me. I've been at Trans States for nearly a decade now and have never applied to SkyWest or ExpressJet in the past. Getting desperate over there? I know everyone is coming up short but honestly what's next, cold calls?
(Edit: Then again, starting out at the bottom would put me on reserve in MSP or ORD, and nothing on this planet can convince me to commute to reserve. Ever. Again.)
Can anyone tell me what kind of airframes they have at COS? Thinking of throwing them an app after seeing the postcard. I ditched the dream a couple years back, but that'd be no commute so I'm considering it...
Also what's the "qualified" part of the bonus they're offering? Need to be current in, or just typed?? Any ideas?

Just assigned a training date for October 26th in SLC. Anyone else have this date?
I've put a couple days of studying the EP/L's and have most of it down already. any other good things to study specifically before indoc that I should request from the recruiter?
