I didn't want to start my own thread for this, so I'm shamelessly going to post it here.
I'm looking to purchase a medium leather jacket in good condition. If anyone has one for sale please PM me. Willing to pay $200.

Deadhead only pays actual so lost 15 minutes from sitting in back on mainline vs. flying. Round trip I lost 19 minutes, so technically only 34. But my day credit was 6:06 and the block was supposed to be 6:40. So even though my last leg was over block, I still only got the 6:04. Had I flown it all at block with the last leg over block, I would have ended up with 40 more minutes of pay. So between both pilots, SW saved themselves about 120 minutes of pay.
Things like this need to be considered when we try to tell everyone we are the highest paid regional. Add in insurance costs and lower 401k, vacation accrual and soft time at the 200 rate, we are NOT the highest paid regional despite the fancy charts we like to throw around.

I've got mostly locals next month with a few standups. Looking at just the locals I credit 72:09 with 74:15 of block. If I were at any other airline I would credit the 74:15, another 2:06 of pay. That's a 3 % loss.
Take all of our pay rates and subtract 3% when comparing them to other airlines.

What he said.
That was a pretty ignorant comment.

(I just realized my cancel pay will be at the 200 rate so that is another $20 less pay)

Finally someone gets what I've been saying for years (not taking credit for it, just pointing it out as an example). Your pay rates are not bad at all. It's EVERYTHING else that is almost never in your pay packages.
Is Skywest using a EFB or are you still lugging the Jepps around?
