Choose your regional carefully!

What are new hires having the most trouble with in training? And care to elaborate on what you mean by choosing carefully? Not throwing stones, looking for clarification. Thanks

Anybody who puts in the time and effort will most likely make it through the training process. You have to put in the effort. If you're a CFI jumping into a jet for the first time, the learning curve is steep make no doubt about it, but thousands of guys / gals have done it in the past. A positive attitude and perseverance will take you a long way.

GIGO, I have had that very report after my A/C mechanically cancelled. I have also had a DH not go due to no crew ever having been listed and labeled WX.

Plenty haven't made it as well, remember if you couldn't get hired a year ago, and suddenly you are "Skywest material" you are in the unenviable position of being training dept fodder. Don't forget, being non-union we are all on probation as long as we are employed at SKYW.

Compaired to my last Alpa airline SKW hasn't fire many... Funny how outsiders think because were not ALPA we get paid less and fire tons of people.. Not true both accounts... But what ever. You want to live in the west fly to nice overnights on the coast. SKW is for you.. You are from the East coast and live in CLT PSA is for you.. Ect, ect...

If you put in the time you will pass, just like anywhere else, no one is trying to make you fail.

If you're scared of failing a checkride you should probably do some reevaluation
