We have 100 firm and 100 options on order for 175, this accounts for 55, 40 United 15 Alaska, still taking delivery of the United birds

Who owns the delta 900s? If delta owns them, wouldn't they want to place them somewhere else so they don't sit while they pay for them? If Skywest owns them, presumably they would only agree to a swap if they have somewhere to put the 900s so they don't pay for them while they sit?

If iread that memo correctly, that agreement was not set in stone. It's possible we just lost 15 airframes. 11 200s (LAX) & 4 900s (PHX). Nothing definitive on the 900s placement.

Huuu..??.. Company memo said the 900's are going to Delta... Only fishy thing is they didnt say how long the PHX 200's contract was extended for... A lot is moving around at SkyWest right now. AA, AS, DL,US. Bet we only know 1/3 of the story.. More to come im sure..

It's probably because the phx 200 contract has not changed and it still expires next year. They are probably just swapping aircraft. And probably because they still have tail risk on the lax 200 and not on the phx 200s.

Just re-read the memo. You are correct, it just doesn't say where they are going. I think the next 2 years will be very interesting.
