No, kool aid is NOT like the word scab! Two totally different things. You are demeaning the word scab by comparing the two.

By the way, what is Flight Control? Is that something to do with the pilots controlling the flight?

Recent quarterly training subject dealing with "Operational Authority / Control". I believe that is what was being referred to as "flight control".

8 700s come off contract?

No. The original poster said Dispatch was no longer under Flight Ops and directly under MT now. Dispatch is not a department, Flight Control is. Just using the correct terminology.
