Maybe he is unhappy at F9 and wants to come over here because we are happy on this side of the forum and love working for this company.

I don't need to; you are unhappy where you are, so you are here stirring the most incredible pot of SkyWest.

Sounds like they understand business better and don't feel the need to limit substantially their options. For the win! Fact.
Acutally, it is they who have limited themselves as they are waiting for something which might not come to pass in the forseeable future. Good for them for holding out, however, to go on a forum and berate, without merit, is not indicitive of a person who has a lot of options. As for me and understanding business, I retired from my first career after becoming quite successful, but set a goal to get my ratings, go to an airline and fly because that is what I love to do. i am not chasing the million dollar paycheck. I have a 91/125 gig with narrow body and wide body planes, a generous salary, and perks beyond what I probably deserve, but I consider myself fortunate to have acheived the ability to do such things. If I wanted to hurry up and get to a legacy and do all of those things, I would have a different approach, but as stated, this is simply fulfilling a goal. For the win! Fact.

Actually, I retired from my first career after being quite successful, so I guess I do have the room. Have a great day!

Im not quite sure they should be ashamed, there is certainly enough information online telling them how draconian this contract is but more applicants than spots available are willing to sign it. When management could not retain pilots they had to more than double the pay, now that the tables are turned, management came up with a way to protect them, and it worked. I would just say when the inevitable happens and these forums start to get filled with the "Has anyone been able to successfully break the contract? My mother is going thru some stuff and she lives in (Atlanta/DFW/DEN) and I have an opportunity to move there and help her while also getting my dream job. I would normally want to stay at OO but due to family commitments I cant" that they get deleted as quickly as they are put up.

Well considering the comment you responded to was to someone else, you may want to get back to basic paying of attention.
