Default After signing contract crickets

Someone I know has been waiting weeks now after signing the contract. The recruiter can't help either. Does anyone have any ideas on who to contact to get a class date?

Just goes to show you they have more people willing to sign the contract then they have jobs available. Cant wait 2 years for the posts "How can I get out of this unfair contract? All of my friends who didnt sign a contract are getting jobs at Majors and I am handcuffed by this contract"

What 1500 hour pilot with no jet time is going to get hired at a Legacy in two years? Lol Explain the progression, and with whom, a pilot today refusing to sign a contract would get hired by AA/UL/DL in Sep 2026?

Completely agree. This isn't 2022 anymore, and people need to wake up and realize that fact.

Exactly. And if (very doubtful considering average DL Newhire has around 4000 hrs) so… if you get hired. Cough up the 80k if getting on a major is that important to you.. maybe if we went back to the days of first year pay was $19.05 a hour and a wapping $25 at year 4. They wouldn’t need a contract. But the fact your getting $90hr, plus typed in a state of the art jet not a turbo prop, single occupancy hotel room, pay from day 1. Not after IOE was passed. should tell you there investing money in you to the tune of 80k. And they want to recoup there investment.. Funny how some of us waited 10 plus year. Some 15+. And there are people here that are flight instructors, put out that they have to stay more then 2 years at a regional with such certainty that they will have a Major CJO in hand..

CJO Accepted on August 27th and cannot get the recuiter to even respond that they received my emails. From the guys I know currently in training, the classes have been cut back because half of the trainers went back to the line to fill empty slots while vacation time ramps up. Right now it is November for CRJ/January for ERJ. The crappy part is to just wait as nobody can help during this portion of the hiring phase.

They told us that we were lucky to be the first class to not have to buy their own Jepps and get training pay. The good old days, may they never return.

I agree with your overall statement, but I did get a chuckle reading "state of the art jet" while thinking of the CRJ!
