And yes the checkride failures weren't a deal breaker ... but that doesnt mean they weren't the reason. Interview 20 people you would take, only have 6 slots, something will be the decider.

There's no way to know and no way to change the past, so the only thing you can do is buff the resume. Do what it takes to get on something bigger.
The big ones, Net Jets, Flex jet, and some smaller ones that I found from Googling.

Welcome to what this industry was like for DECADES. Things have been good for a couple years now, which was abnormal. We are getting back to normal now and it is a slog.

Those are destination jobs. (and to be picky, 91K not 135)

You need to apply to some pay-your-dues jobs. Ameriflight. Mountain Air. Etc.

Question

I interviewed on August 8th and was told I would hear back in 7-10 days. It has officially been 2 weeks and the full 10 business days. Still no word. Is this normal?

My interiewer said "I'm obviously going to recommend you, but it still has to go through the interview board." How is it looking for anybody else?

I'm a low-time CFI just barely making ATP quals and have been in their cadet program since the beginning of the year. No checkride failures and a squeaky clean record. Are they even hiring my type or can they afford to be much pickier right now?

The longer the better. Check your SkyWest dashboard and it'll give you the status

They do. But if you were making a list of 121 operators, 135 operators, 91K operators, etc .... Netjets would not be 135.

Also, if a CFI needs a next-step job and you tell them to apply to some 135 operations ... that does not mean NetJets
