Except it doesn't effect anyone currently on property. The 4500 pilots here maybe 100 have even heard about it.. the 100 that read the SAPA update… Have you not learned anything about our pilot group…

Supposedly this is being sent out to everyone including those who already have their ATP

Default Guy next to me in class signed; I didn't

For the sake of argument, how much "cutting in line" does this provide? Will Skywest show, "Here's the next unfilled class several months in the future, however, here is the next class starting in two weeks, and we'll bump a person out of that class for you to take their seat?" Are they bumping people for this? Or is there no difference in actuality, using the normal "plinko" where new hires will fill classes as usual, with gullible people sitting next to smart people in the same class?

If you're a new hire, I'd love to hear feedback on the class makeups and how much line-cutting was awarded to those who signed.

One recent CJO recipient told me he was told 2-3 weeks wait with contract, and 2-3 months without.

I haven’t even interviewed yet and I got the contract offer yesterday. Worded slightly differently, even more non-committal on the company’s part. Says you will they will “work to prioritize your access to the interview scheduler” and “upon successful interview completion, prioritize your class placement as early as available”

My interview is about a week out and I just got two emails; one describing the agreement and the other a docusign. I guess I'm just trying to do the worst case scenario math and figure out how long it could take to build 1600 hrs or move up to a major. At 5 yrs, is it worth taking the "early class date". How much earlier. By not signing am I shoved to the back and forgotten about? Probably. This is fun.

If they can’t tell you how much earlier you’ll be on onboarded then what exactly are you signing?

latest DL newhire class average flight time was 5k hrs. It had been in the mid 3k hrs. I would say if the wait is more then 6 months thats a tuff call. Or they could strung you out for months. All depends how many sign it…
