Because Skywest doesn’t have a union to keep them honest, and no one for ACN to reach out to without risking termination for that individual.

I get why everyone is getting all worked up over this, but again, it’s ONLY foreign visa pilots which is I’m sure a very very small amount of pilots now. That said, it’s a slippery slope from here if they decide to expand it to everyone else.

whole thing seems fake. OO knows it won’t need many pilots in a year or so once contracts are reduced substantially. Why do this? And if it’s true, sounds a lot like discrimination which will land them in all kinds of muddied waters. Grab your snorkels, the ship is capsizing…..

It’s poorly written enough to be real.

Like mentioned above, only if hired through a certain firm. Too expand on that, that firm will help foreign applicants get their FAA certificates apparently. I think they're targeting Australian, as they have in the past.

I didn't post it.

If it's definitely fake, I'll delete, I'll take the word of anyone who's been here for a few years and is obviously an OO pilot.

Exclamation

OK, so I understand that this is a draft document related only to costs associated with employing foreign pilots (visa and/or license conversion). Not applicable to US persons who apply to work at OO.

Not sure it needs to be deleted since it's already in the news and at least it's identified here for what it actually is?
