BOI FO Bids
I am a new hire awaiting a class and am hoping to be based in BOI. I'm looking to set expectations. Can someone look at the assignments for this last month and provide the following for ERJ:
1. Number of FOs in BOI
2. Seniority number of the first FO assigned a line
3. Number of hours and days for that line
4. Number of hours and days for the most senior FO in BOI
Thanks

FYI.. The amount of flying varies every month. Certain times of the year are busier than others. You can bounce back and forth between line holder and reserve. If you are senior enough and staffing allows it, you can bid down in hours and get more days off. That can push more hours onto someone down the seniority list in domicile. Things are changing as well, what's happening now in a domicile may be completely different in 6-12 months.

As has been said, things change every month, so while it is nice to daydream about this month's numbers, it can and likely will be an entirely different reality when you arrive there.
As far as what senior and less senior FOs like to do, that changes as well. Everyone has different needs and goals. I know FOs that have only been qualified for a few months and they are working 8-10 days a month. I know senior FOs that have an upgrade class approaching and they are working 95 hours a month.
Best bet is to focus hard in training, do well, and trust in the fact that unless there is a massive downturn your seniority will increase rapidly.
