That Facebook page tells you what you need to know about T2 parking. It’s been on all the news organizations too. Brad is the biggest koolaid drinker in Minnie. Likely part of a certain OO demographic. Anyway. Sunny pays for Lyft rides so its employees are not subject to that nightmare. OO simply…. doesn’t care.

Yes. Sunny is AQP. The MV isn’t PRIA, FOs don’t get a line check on IOE. Sunny has great success turning Mankato 141 studs (called bridge students) into B738 pilots. I still suggest a stop and go at a regional, but that’s only for fast upgrade so after a year you make more than the most senior OO captain. Wherever you go.

Park terminal 2. Fly terminal 2.

Not really sure what your point is, other than being obtuse. And plenty of folks get Ubers paid for by OO, so there’s yet another example regarding OO where you are simply… wrong.

But as I said earlier, everyone’s situation is different. Do your own research and make
your choice - ignore the koolaid drinkers regardless of where they park.

Just responding to your terminal 2 parking comment. If I’m obtuse, perhaps you might be a bit fanatical!

Of course I left. But I was there. It wasn’t bad. But Sunny is ten times OO. Call it as I live it.

OMG yes.. PTSD flashbacks of MSP Ramp: "Hey it's MEEE!!" Everyone else on freq: [vomit emoji]

To OP's point, it's a great base if you live there. Good crews, fun times! Even the small midwest overnights have a charm. You develop little pleasant routines at each one. You have to make this job enjoyable, and it is!

So true, about the small-town overnights and their individual charms. There will come a time in most everyone's career where they've moved on to other carriers and many of the layovers are just another Hilton or Marriott in some random medium city with no personality. I never thought I'd say it when I was at them all the time, but I miss SBN and FWA. I had great times in so many of the small towns I used to fly into from MSP. I don't remember getting the impression that the front desk and shuttle drivers hated flight crews either, like I see quite a bit now. It's possible my memory is clouded with time as those days get further behind me though.
