thats still the plan but thats a “long game” and thunk may change the industry with how EAS and 135/121 is done.. doesn't take much to see the FAA is going to add some regs 135… (thanks alpa). And will make it more inline with 121 safety..(foqa,asap,sms,ect). I have no interest in flying past 65. Im counting the days tell i can retire!!

Yeah, I don't know who this person is but my paycheck says $155/hr.
20% direct contribution is correct, you are vested after 3 years.
Medical benefits are the same as SkyWest airline side, no flight benefits yet. We are CASS and KCM but no jumpseat agreements that I know of.
Home based is correct, your positioning days count against your 15 days on.
Schedules depend on your seniority. They build lines of flying mixed in with reserve days to fill out the schedule if they need to make up the 15 days. No one is breaking 60 hours unless they pick up an extra trip. I honestly don't even look to see if there is open time, I'm happy flying what I get, I'm not here to fly a lot. You will have at least one block of 7 days off in a row, this month I have 2.
EAS may or may not come, right now we are doing really well with straight 135 charters. We are doing lots of college teams and some other groups that need 15 to 30 seats.
I do know we are flying to Mexico and there are international ops specs and whatever they are calling WATRs ops now coming soon. I haven't seen anything yet so it's still unknown to me. They will need to configure some of the jets for extended over water if they do that. Who knows when that will be done. I think SkyWest is happy we are busy and are looking for us to continue that.
I'm pretty happy with this gig. Support from the DO and the CP is great. The schedulers are pleasant to work with, which is nice, because things will change on your days on. Most of that is client driven, standard charter stuff. It's great having a F/A to handle the cabin, the FBOs load the cargo/bags and you get your flight plan from OCC an hour before push. The SkyWest app is really great for handling your load and release and even maintenance. It's actually better than what I had at American.
It's not all rainbows and unicorns but it's a great job for those who want to work but not kill yourself working.
