Does anyone have any updates on CRJ IOE times? Currently in a early April indoc but curious if I'll be sitting around for several months. I have two other offers elsewhere to consider and can be flying a lot sooner potentially.

Especially if one bird, if not both, have a Flow to mainline.

I started Indoc late Dec 2022 (after Christmas). Checkride 54-days later, or a week ago. IOE starts this month. So maybe 30-45 days for the CRJ. Remember LCA’s have some vacations going on right now for Spring Break (hence our small break). But after going thru training so fast, having this time off is refreshing.

And on the ERJ side, here was my timeline:

Indoc 11/14
*huge break (paid)*
Systems started 1/3
KV/LOE 2/15
Last flight of IOE will be 3/8

IOE as a whole was busy and exhausting, but very interesting and fun. The LCA's are great (I flew with 3 different ones over 3 different trips). I did mine in 35 hours, average is between 35-45 hours.

Definitely tell the company you want hotels on the front and back of every trip when you submit your IOE base request if you live somewhere other than where you're completing IOE (and verify that they actually booked them), otherwise you might have a 10pm release time with no flights back home, and no hotel booked. Probably my biggest advice lol.
