What’s everyone’s take on the pay increases that the AA WO’s just announced for their pilots? Is it likely that SkyWest is able to compete?

Would it be a good idea for someone in training to jump ship to Envoy with the new pay scale? What about someone who’s already flying the line? And lastly, in case someone has CJOs with both, would it make more sense to go the Envoy route?

It’s all a gamble like always.

Whats your goal? Mainline? Regional bucks and stability? You won’t find stability in flying so that’s out.

Personally, id go to an lcc or ulcc and get a 73 or 320 type to get away from mainline feed. But my goal was legacy or fedex.

If you want Delta or United, Envoy would probably be a good call. But, again, who knows. What if Oo stops flying for United.

Default If your goal is to get to mainline and $$ run

With Skywest begging it’s partners not to hire their pilots and sapa saying Skywest is at the top of their “peers” I’d never work for them. I’d go to envoy if I didn’t want to work at American though.

Anythings possible when you cannot attract or keep the talent.
The GPI’s are getting rejected, (not all) which only makes good business sense for the partners.
Keep an eye on Envoy, they just cornered the market on regional pilots.
