DL has fewer retirements, and they're the top PAX airline destination, I suspect they can keep slogging along with regional flow and have enough applicants.
They are the same union and can negotiate to staple all Endeavor Captains to the bottom of the DL list. This is what is likely to happen. Buckle up because Air Wisconsin, Mesa, Sky West, or Republic are all about to see a HUGE surge of F/O & Captain resignations. (Or new hires turn down further class dates).

Expect to SkyWest come out with something imminently would be my guess, this is going to force them to play their hand sooner than they may have hoped. But short of matching and guaranteeing a flow to a major it likely wont be enough.

As you say, folks living out of or near current Envoy bases will jump ship faster than rats from the Titanic. Can only imagine what the gone list for July onwards is going to look like. Who would have thought 12-18 months ago this is where we would be today!

CAN? Maybe. WILL? Doubtful. THE SLI COMES SECOND, AFTER THE JCBA. At that point the Endeavor pilots would literally have nothing to lose. You’d find enough insisting on invoking McClaskey - Bond to gum up the works. The senior regional pilots insisting on DOH, while the junior ones would insist on relative seniority because ANY gain they might make would be better than a staple.

the Delta pilots would do a wildcat strike - RLA be damned - before they would even let the company put them in that position.

I agree is Envoy does no interview or zoom interview job offers. They could get tons of NH’s and Captain Qualified applicants asap.. SkyWest needs to match something quick or your right gone July will be 500+

SAPA will come up with some misleading graph to trick the pilot group to vote yes on whatever they come up with.

That law doesn’t say no staple. It came about because of a staple. Read your favorite law.

Why? As an newnbc, why would any of us care? Everyone from edv would be jr to us.

It's a no brainer, with the new pay at Envoy and the WO, going to Skywest makes no sense unless you really want a certain base.

You clearly do not understand McCaskill-Bond either. Only once the two groups were under the same JCBA would the two groups be combined and the SLI - not the JCBA - then governs the seniority. Why then would any endeavor pilot NOT fight to carry over as much possible of his/her seniority from a time when they were “flying Delta pax in Delta aircraft” when they merged with Mother D? They have everything to gain and nothing whatever to lose. McCaskill-Bond was designed precisely to PREVENT staples. It would eventually wind up - like most SLIs do - in arbitration and ultimately no matter if DOH was used, RS, was used, or a combination of both, the Endeavor group would gain something, and that something can only come at the expense of the Mother D pilots.

Nor would it be only the Endeavor pilots pushing this. ALL of the Endeavor employee unions would push for this, because they would all benefit by it.

might get past DL pilots if Endeavor had a aircraft worth something.. say 175’s. That could easily add 195’s to replace old 71’s at some point in time. But the CRJ has nothing to offer at this point..
