Not only that but also by signing up you agree to share internal information with the lagacy partner like reliability etc.

No you’re incorrect. I’m off the seniority list so I can’t see the Southwest GPI requirements, but I remember the UA/DL/AS GPI’s saying specifically if you interview before your GPI and receive a TBNT you’re not applicable for the GPI.

Unless you have some type of insider knowledge?

The Terminator went to the 175, I'm not sure about Iceman. TT forced the former into an LCA class AND into the sim, despite the protests of both directors and hiring managers. Not good for LCA or Instructor morale. Or students! It was a terrible, ego driven leadership decision.

You don’t have to do your sim with them. Just call and be firm. I passed my LOE with ST but doesn’t mean it was easy, it was unreasonably difficult compared to others. Just my 2 cents

That’s what I’ve heard as well. He screams at you for both the KV and LOE, then tells you how terrible you were after, then tells you congratulations you passed.

That type of behavior would never fly at the majors. But because he’s typically evaluating a bunch of newbie kids in their 20’s with no strong voice’s yet, he gets away with it.

It’s also why ST has received multiple TBNT from the majors. Those same “kids” are now grown adults with strong voices at said majors. He’s a perfect example of why you don’t burn bridges in this career.

I had a WO guy in my Jumpseat recently. He said a lot of them are bailing to other airlines to avoid the long flow times.
Perhaps the flow isn’t flowing like they thought it would.

ST is probably making 300k+ a year as a Sim instructor. I doubt he gives a F about the majors. You should check out some of the sim instructors pay stubs once.

For new folks reading sensationalized posts, please realize that while the Regional lifestyle is definitely not as glamorous as working for a Major, life at SkyWest is not what some here are making it out to be. No job is perfect and sure, there are always things that can be improved, but there are a lot of happy people here and unprecedented movement happening.
aha. Management has arrived. I knew I smelt a rat…
