And 500 other aircraft they won’t know what to do with… Nope… Next..

SkyWest will keep doing what it does best, Be a CPA airline.. But my guess is focus on E175’s and CRJ700’s..

and then do what? Ruin the nice / nicer / nicest branding with a bunch of clapped out 200?

all the ER7 are on long term contracts (10 years) or so. That flying won’t go anywhere. And the 200 may get parked. That’s probably the worst case scenario.

Yeah like i said (which you ignored) it would take a big event to push them that way, but it is doable. Not their option number one, but they'd have a decent chance if they had to pull that hail mary. And yes the 200 would obviously go away.

Yep DL fly a bunch of “regional” routes on mainline but again they have brand awareness, connections to other mainline flights domestically and overseas, frequent flyer program, lounges…etc etc…

OO Inc I could see going into a purely leasing capacity if they were absorbed by a mainline carrier but really at the end of the day, so long as regionals still exist in the next few years, SkyWest ain’t changing nothin’ !

Don't worry, I'm just a regular line pilot that's on reserve. Commuted to reserve for awhile as well. Most of making this job enjoyable is your attitude. And most of the super unhappy people have a bad attitude and feel slighted by every little thing that chaps them. I just understand that I am in a stepping stone in my career and choose to be as happy as I can be. Would do a lot of people good to have the same attitude. But yes, I am trying to move on to a major as quickly as I can.

I love this attitude and its how I try to approach every day life too. We get to do amazing things and great opportunities are ahead!

Does SkyWest still require two to a room during training?

This is getting ridiculous, we are one of UALs biggest regional and no flow. Meanwhile everyone else gets it... The argument that we are not United exclusive is getting old
