The only time I tend to notice uniform violations is when someone is going on a tirade about how the company is violating their personal interpretation of the PPM and how the company needs to be held to the absolute letter of the PPM. That’s when said persons uniform violations start to become more noticeable, and it always makes me smile.

Missing the point again, big picture. I bought my pants from Macy’s so they’d fit, did the black exactly match the blazer? No, but I rarely wore the blazer. Was my tie black? Yes. Was it of higher quality than M&H and had a barely noticeable different weave? Yes. Did my shoes get scuffed from glycol in the winter? Yes. All uniform violations. I even accidentally, once, went 251kts below 10.
What's next? Flip flops, baggy camo shorts that are half way down with boxers showing, stained wife beater t-shirts, soul patches, and purple mohawks? It's a slippery slope from nose rings, tats, and beards.
When you tell someone that you are an airline pilot, what image do you want them to have? One of Leonardo DeCaprio struting down the concourse or Snoop Dog? Have some pride in your profession.

Please, please, please get out of the industry. There are too many people who love to fly and have had real jobs that know that this is a good gig. You are taking a spot that should go to these people.
I'm so tired of flying with young d-bags who complain about this cush job and have never had a real one. And they do a sh*t job too.
