True. But for new hires I don’t see the value in having that stuff memorized before coming to class. I can see risks in it, and perhaps the training department did as well, leading them to stop the practice.

You also need to have them memorized for CQ each year, if we’re going to be complete about checking points.

For any RJ CAs out there can somebody shed some light on how much money one can expect to make on year 3 CA salary while one reserve? Is it pretty rare to break guarantee?

That’s a very broad question.. routes / flights can move from month to month or shift to different areas.
What are you asking about specifically?

Remember we still have 25 175’s coming with UA. ( I think )

Reworded here, so from what I understand the 25 175s went to Mesa or is that wrong?

Interms of Chicago and Denver seems to have stayed the same and with now ewr closing for xjet are we shifting flying or adding anything?

Sorry if I asked a dumb question fairly new to the regional industry trying to get everything grasped

Do you want to budget realistically to decide whether to Upgrade from a cush FO schedule where you can swap, bid to fly with LCA to get displaced so you can pick up jr man flying, and fly the good trips, or are you trying to figure out what you can anticipate to really make?
Conservatively budget for 931 hours per year. I got that by figuring 75.8 hours per month plus 6 hours training pay, plus 6 holidays.
Then figure about $800 in total quarterly Performance rewards, $2000 in total quarterly Financial rewards, and $3000 Captain Pilot Profit Sharing checks.
Using 3rd year CRJ200 captain pay effective Jan 1, 2020 of $79.06, Total for all that is around $79000.
Conservatively Add in 100 Hours of Per Diem per month or another $2400 since per diem jumps a whopping $.05 to $2.00 on January 1st.
for a yearly gross of $81,400

Realistically? Add at least 10 hours per month of credit so another $9487 yearly.
Depending on base figure about 25 hours per month in the 700 ($4.46 per hour)/900 ($6.13 per hour), or $1338-1839
and about 250 hours per diem. or another $3600
Realistically about $95825 Gross.

Depending on base you may end up not flying much, but as a Captain don't plan on that. I think there were a total of 4 months out my 3 years of reserve I did not break Guarantee. Expect OBR if your base is overmanned, expect lots of call outs if it's understaffed.

It was the first offer of 25 planes for new dual-class flying. The rumor I've heard is UA offered 550 flying to SGU, SGU refused, and thus the dual-class clause has been satisfied.

How true is it? Good question. It's not new 175s per se, though.

Not sure. It’s potentially true though.
