Envoy opening a PHX base...encroaching on OO territory.
Does this make PHX OO 175 base more likely? Less likely? Same sort of likely?
How many PHX based OO pilots just scheduled their interview/orientation?
Also, the seniority list clerk got back from labor day....another 40+ gone from OO over the weekend...OOF.

If they get more flying and a base on the West Coast such as LAX I can't even imagine what OO will have left to offer anyone if they won't pay equivalent rates, which by all accounts they will not. I know the Kool-aid crowd will still run with the "BuT wE ArE EmPloYer Of ChOicE" line but realistically it doesn't matter how many jets are on property and fully paid for, nor how many 10 year contracts are signed if no one is around to fly them.
Better hope this revised TA is so good it causes one to lose consciousness at the very sight of its magnificence or the bleed will continue and probably speed up.

TA 2.0 is Finished
TA 2.0 is finished following a meeting between the SAPA NC and management in SGU earlier this week.
On the weekly SAPA conference call it was shared that the revised TA is being presented to all of SAPA tonight and if approved it will be made available to the pilot group on Monday.
“Maybe earlier than Monday. I mean gosh we’re going to be working all weekend on the presentation. So if we can get it done sooner we’ll share it sooner. But Monday is sort of a goal for me. Maybe late Monday night. You know. We’ll be working on the PowerPoint all weekend and we don’t want to half ass it. So Monday is a personal goal for me. Also I have to go to DC next week for a safety conference and I want to be able to hold my head high around our peers,” said SAPA President AA.
No details of the TA were shared but AA added, “We’ve worked on the main points that the group came back with. But you need to keep it in the realm…er…you know we’re not going to get 5 or 6 hour MDG. That’s just not market.”
The conference call was ended after taking one question from the participants, which asked if a summary of the changes to the TA could be shared sooner than 5 days after approval. This suggestion was summarily rejected.
Meanwhile, SkyWest pilots are actively pursuing ALPA representation that would aim to provide more accountable, transparent and professional pilot representation. Sign up to get regular updates here: https://bit.ly/alpaforOO

Per Diem?
What is per diem based on? Is it $2 at TAFB, duty, credit or some other metric?
Why don't I see any discussion on wanting it raised (along with pay) with the next TA?
New to 121 so thanks in advance for the answers.
