while i agree the 175s out of LGA as well as the ones flowing through DTW and MSP are prob going west, if there is a CRJ base that is in trouble right now it is probably ATL. it is very isolated from the rest of our DL system (only like 3 or 4 destinations that we also serve from another DL base) and we seem to be having more issues with staffing here than elsewhere.

700/900 leaving SLC
I heard SLC was gonna be losing 700/900 flying... any truth to that?? If so... what will that do for CRJ new hires out of training who want salt lake?? Will that make it harder to get? or will senior CRJ guys wanna leave SLC cuz they don’t wanna fly the 200’s? Thoughts??

Not “losing” the flying. The 900’s are going to MSP/DTW and the E175’s that were flying there by SLC/ORD crews are moving west.. SLC still has 900 flying in September but its all 4 days bridging through OKC or a DH to GTF. Then MSP flying for a few days... 14- 200’s still in SLC doing what they have been doing for years. Now how long they keep those “bridges” open and build 900 trips out pf SLC is based off how fast SLC crews go to the E175... 3-9 months maybe. Then SLC will be mostly 200’s and the normal UA flying we do.. 4 day pairings that go through DEN or IAH...

Nothing. SLC CRJ isn’t going anywhere. Just less lines them before. SLC ERJ has more lines then the CRJ now.. (and this is just the beginning of the ERJ growth out west). But if you still can’t hold SLC CRJ after your seat lock is up. Bid the ERJ...

200 flights for AA?
Buddy of mine has a CRJ200 trip out of ORD all AA flight numbers. Could have sworn we didn’t do 200 flying for them. All SkyWest painted aircraft so maybe covering for another carrier was my guess. Any ideas?
