That’s good news for everyone. I do enjoy the idea that you actually believe it’s a “goal” lmfao. The regionals shrinking are out of their control and they’re playing it off as UAX reduction was always the plan. Mhmmm…

There are over 680 FOs trying to consolidate now. The firm plans to add another 160+ into that goat rodeo every month? God help us.

My bet is forced upgrade in the new TA. The company will tell you that they don’t hire FOs…they hire “captains in training.” They don’t want senior FOs. They want people to upgrade. In a forced upgrade situation, the senior FOs will either upgrade or quit. Obviously, the company would prefer the upgrade option, but having them quit would shift the FO flying more junior. I don’t know…just a thought.

The entire point of the TA is to probably solve for that.

incorrect. When UA made the new aircraft order a years ago, it was always stated they would be growth aircraft specifically including taking back their “regional type” flying. Customers hate the smalljets. Probably why UA has been on a hiring spree. Wouldn’t want to a lifer her at OO in a few years, especially at the west coast bases.

While this may be the case 160 aircraft in all of the UAX Network is quite small. That effectively puts SkyWest, Mesa and Republics E175 Fleet on the UA side alone with large cuts. What do they plan on doing with the aircraft they own? Plus not to mention the new 550's and all the 145's commute air has. Plus AW if they stay on with UA Aviate.... Aviate will have to feed essentially only one carrier and that is going to be a massive overflow with the amount of planes. I don't know how realistic that is. Unless they plan on just hiring junior into mainline.

As always your posts are all over the place providing zero evidence to back up your statements.
