Truly anybody’s guess and impossible to predict. They are always increasing or decreasing the size of classes in a perpetual effort to match what their pipeline can handle. Sometimes they find out 2 weeks before class that an applicant is no longer interested and has moved on somewhere else. In other words, there are just too many variables to give any sort of accurate answer. What I can say though is to be ready so you can say yes if the call comes.

When I look at the reserve tab in Sked+ for August I can see the green bars but when I click on them nothing pops up. Is there a workaround to see reserve trips being awarded in August right now or do I need to wait until it's August to view them?

And also on the waiting list for something sooner.
Not holding my breath, though.

Predictions for quarterly results conference call today:
- in a surprise move, SkyWest will join a 3-way merger with Frontier and Breeze
- David Neeleman will be the new CEO and will lead the new company from SGU
- The company name will be SkyBreeze with cute animals painted on the tails of all airplanes. Insects on the tails of CRJ-200s.
- The combined company will be represented by SAPA. Details on the combined pilot contract are forthcoming, but everyone should "manage their expectations". It will take a few months. Or years. And after all, it's the busy flying season so nobody has time to review the contract anyway.

Biggest news I heard is 28 new (additional/accretive) ERJ's arriving in '23-24.
Otherwise just painful maneuvering non-answers, typical of these earnings calls.
One interesting exchange (paraphrased):

Q: Have you seen any impact from the AA WO contracts?
Chip: There are some ideas we can embrace, and some we can't. We want to find a long term solution for our pilots, not just the next two years.

Chip/Wade emphasized numerous times that the shortage is Captains, and that all efforts are focused on CA retention. They even said that hiring pipeline was full through the end of the year.
Lots of digging into the 135 operation by the analysts. Nothing committal, but the dream team said that they expect to see charter flights by the end of this year.
