Got it, thanks! Hopefully lines are quick to get out of ORD, although I’m sure I’ll be waiting a few months.

My goal is to fly my pants off and get 1,000 hours of 121 SIC time my first year so I can upgrade sooner, and also credit as much as possible so I can build some savings up. I was thinking about picking up as much OT as I legally would be allowed to, but I’d be happy to volunteer for positions like the training department or recruiting if they’d take me literally after I go through training.
They were talking pay. Those folks fly very very little. Lol. Ten hours per month? Most?
Absolute best case you are 18mo to upgrade. Most like 24. SkyWest has no new captains to fly with you until 2023(Covid hiring freeze).

Welcome. Love the new guy enthusiasm. You’re not the first.

You probably won’t fly that much in the training department, when I taught ftd earlier this year guys were flying maybe one trip a month

Why are they reopening ATL at record low staffing numbers?

Almost a certainty that this isn't additional block hours just a shift from other Delta hubs.
