They’ve been prioritizing CA IOE since like January, but I guess we’ll see what happens

Would ejet in IAH be easy to get for a new hire? Would it be easy to commute from IAH to other Skywest bases?

Most recent Ejet FO is a November 2021 new hire so you’ll get it but it’ll be a few months of commuting for you. Most likely have to end up commuting to Chicago where there could be as many as 9 daily flights available for you to use on commuting. Definitely wouldn’t be the hardest commute to do for a few months

Are the trips in IAH commutable on the 175? Or are there a lot of early starts requiring one to come in the day prior?

No clue as I’m on the CRJ, but since IAH is a United hub and not some podunk outstation like BOI, I would be willing to bet that there is a healthy variety of trips, including commutable ones

Yeah you’re not wrong. Not sure why I used podunk other than knowing it’s far from where I live lol.

Default CRJ

Is the CRJ break in training still after the sims and before IOE?

Or is it somewhere between INDOC and sims now?

No need to get me riled up about that state, I’m more than happy being tucked away into the Midwest and avoiding the south altogether
