Unfortunately is is as I say. Trust me, I am a no-drama guy that just wants to get to work. I have emailed my recruiter every 3 weeks, but I don’t want to turn into someone who is kicking and screaming. The world doesn’t revolve around me. I just want to stand in line with everyone else.

I know this can and will change, but when the time comes to choose a base/aircraft, I'd want to choose the one that at least presented the opportunity to upgrade and stay in the same place with the chance of it starting a relatively junior location as I'll home base at whatever the most junior is that fits these criteria.

With that, does one aircraft or base routinely get more flying hour opportunities per pilot than another? I understand you're will flying your brains out right now, but before corona, before you were having people poached, etc, was there a base out of the ones I listed or a different one that was known as a place for more flying? Thanks.

Chicago and DEN historically have the most flying. COS is a small maintenance base that they randomly just built up a month or so ago to more lines making it super junior. I wouldn't expect it to stay like that long term and not a ton of flying there. DTW almost closed after Covid and is now being built back up. For flying only sake, id say ORD makes the most sense. But that airport and living in Chicago sucks, DEN is much more enjoyable for a long term place to live. Take that for what its worth.
Both DEN and ORD aren't going anywhere for Skywest and are very junior on both the CRJ and ERJ, captain and FO.

I interviewed last September and got an April date. CRJ as well. I’ve been sitting on the waitlist with no luck. You’re seriously starting training less than a month after getting your CJO?
I would pick up the phone and call the recruiter. That's what I did and she offered it to me on the spot saying they were just given the slots from training.

I saw a post on this back in 2014, but wanted to see if anyone had any updated info. Are CRJ's being spread out amongst the bases or does one base have mostly 200's where another base has the 700's and 900's? Which bases mostly fly the 7's and 9's is they aren't all spread out?

It varies from Base to base. Off the top of my head MSP is about 75% 900, 25% 200, DFW is 100% 700, IAH is 75% 200 25% 700 and 900.

Maybe I’ll do that, that’s not a bad idea. I just don’t want to come off as annoying but I also don’t want to be forgotten about haha

Anyone know how to sign up for the Active&Fit gym membership deal? Can't find it under benefits on SWOL or the Delta site

Edit: Delta site > Wellness > Physical Wellness > Active&Fit Direct
