I interviewed this past summer and got a phone call 4 hours later with a CJO.

I got the call in less than an hour.
These are much busier times though.
Patience is a virtue.

I also got a phone call within an hour of my interview as well. A friend of mine who did great on the interview the day before me got an email 7 days after the interview. It all depends on timing/who is handling your file.

I got a phone call about a week and a half later. ERJ classes are really backed up because of the CA upgrade priority.

It took them a week to get back to me. Interviewed January 10th. Phone call with the CJO on the 18th. Starting training on the CRJ on 2/11.

I told them at the interview that I was hired. So they hired me.

I’m here for career mentoring and new to the industry, I have only GA experience prior to having just flown two trips with OO out of ORD(DOH SEP2021) and now received a offer from 9E.

Pro’s to switching-
Home base ATL for QOL (eventually)
Positive Space commute for now
Training Completion bonus
Higher Pay now and top of scale sooner if we get stuck where we are.

Con’s to switching-
Having to explain it at an interview though it isn’t hard to justify
Missing out on coast to coast flying for the next 3 years
Seniority restarts but at my DOH the rate of hire not a concern

I’m not knowledgeable enough on unions to say thats a pro but seems like it is.
Look forward to everyone’s thoughts and guidance.
i would stay put. Moving from one regional to another is like moving from McDonald’s to Burger King. Same circus, different tent. Plus the risk of a training failure at the new airline isn’t worth it. Stay, get the time, move on before the next furlough season arrives.
