KV = knowledge validation. Essentially the oral portion of your checkride. In the sim you’ll have a MV and LOE.

I guess I'm confused about the difference between "Ground" validation and "Knowledge" validation. Seems on paper to be the same thing.

Yup essentially. Not sure how to put it any more clear than it’s already been laid out. GV is a written test covering topics in your ground course.

KV is an oral validation before your LOE ride. Covering….. literally anything covered in ground, limitations, systems, etc…

Got it. That was the missing link. Written vs. oral. Thank you!

GV at the end of ground school. KV just before your LOE. You can ask around for the KV gouge

Default Apple or Android

I'm up for a new phone. Anybody have an opinion on Apple or Android for use as an Airline Pilot? I would prefer an Android but am willing to settle for an Apple if there is something on them that will make my life a lot easier. Currently have an iphone so I could use ForeFlight on it when I was an instructor, but don't really need that anymore.

The cheapest one with reliable enough service for crew scheduling to wake you up at 4:01am???

T-Mobile is absolute garbage for airline flying.
I went back to AT&T after 4 months.

Agreed on the domestic side of things. T-mobile's international deal isn't bad though.
