On the waitlist, my recruiter doesn’t seem too positive either on being able to move to an earlier date. Over the last several months, it seems like most people were able to move up to an earlier class date but now it feels like that is not really a possibility for some reason. Not sure if people are now sticking out the long wait no matter what or if it is a new way they are managing the waiting list.

I just finished…only thing that was virtual was indoc. Altogether took about 2 months. Actually, ground was virtual too but we were in our rooms in SLC after FMS lab and Matrix training in the mornings.

dress code?
The 12/28 Indoc class was the first one back to all in-person and we are staying here for CBT's this week. GS starts next Monday for us. We are at a different hotel on the other side of the airport since it was a last minute decision to change our class from virtual to in-person. We have to have all of CBT's completed between Tuesday night and Sunday night. Glad I'm staying here, because I'd be way to distracted at home to get them done, plus it's a full days travel on each end. I think I counted 52 separate classes that need to be done, so average 10-11 per day to stay on target.
Cheers!

I'm still more than 90days out so don't have much info but wanted to ask about the dress code, it's business casual? Button-down with tie? Polo ok? Does SkyWest give out any polos? (I've seen Endeavor class with all the same polo on). Reason being I don't have a weeks worth of business causal wardrobe.

I had a few days off here and there. Day 1 or 2 of your ground school, you will pick your schedule. It all really depends on what schedule you pick from what is available. Some people in my class wound up with 9 days off over Christmas between LOFT and their checkrides. I didn’t want 9 days off before my checkride, so I chose the schedule that gave me 5 days to prepare for my checkride over Christmas. I wound up being the first in my class to complete the checkride, which was nerve racking, but got it knocked out.
