This is the funniest conversation I’ll read all week. I was part of the first group who was able to find greater pastures when mainline opened up the application windows again. Everyone I know who left around the time I did had the same complaint. This company has been shafting captains with pay for years. Every incentive to be at SkyWest was for their precious FO’s. SkyWest gives ZERO incentives to stay and hold the line. They literally brag during their earnings calls on being built for attrition.
I’ve heard they recently flipped the switch and have started begging for FO’s to upgrade. That’s funny stuff knowing they use the rub it in the faces of CA’s that they don’t need them to stay.

Anyone have any intel on the pick your path program? Heard from someone pretty high up that we will be starting a guaranteed interview either the first or second quarter next year if we meet benchmarks we can interview with DL, UA, AA and WN (guess AS doesn’t like us lol) the major would asking for a certain number of applicants that applied for that list and would interview them is my understanding of what I was told. Anyone else hear anything of the sort?
