My .$.02...
If you want the West Coast, take the ERJ. CRJ flying is being greatly reduced in California and even SLC. The 200 flying in LAX is nearly gone, PSP has seen a reduction in lines as well. There are nine additional Alaska 175s coming next year?
If you want to be based in PHX, DFW, DTW, COS, ORD, DEN, or MSP the CRJ is still a good choice. The only choice for the first four. The CRJ flying in SLC sucks and is being reduced.
As far as CRJ to ERJ transitions.. I heard/read that they weren't going to start again until March or April next year. If there isn't adequate staffing on the CRJ at the time, they will probably cancel those classes and continue just upgrading with the short course. Attrition is absolutely crazy right now, and will probably stay that way. LOL at management being concerned about seniority over staffing. I think management likes to be able to advertise the quicker 175 upgrade time as well.

Starting Indoc next week. I see it's all virtual. By the looks of the document received explaining the itinerary, It also looks like the ERJ ground school is virtual. Is this true or am I interpreting it wrong? Thank you..

Not for much longer, but it is for now.
First half of the day is ground from the hotel room, second half is matrix and dts(fms) lab.

I got an email with directions on how to register for access to SWOL (not the full version yet) 90 days from the start of my INDOC class. Based on your class date, expect to see something by the end of this month in order to start uploading all of the documents they need and to knock out the drug screening, finger prints, etc.
I had ATP-CTP completed already, but I've heard that the travel info for that piece comes out about a week before the start of class.
