Only time will tell. I've seen more amazing feats.

what are the chances of getting ERJ as a new hire and is movement slow if you have ERJ meaning do you fly less as compared to CRJ?

New hire classes have been 60/40 heavier on the CRJ. If you want a certain plane I'm sure they'll give you the option.

No. You'll fly as much as you want on both fleets right now.

Upgrade is under 2 years on both fleets and it looks like in the near term that as soon as you hit your 1,000 SIC you'll be able to upgrade.

How much flying do you get a month as a new hire and how long is the reserve if you chose ERJ?

I chose the CRJ and kind of regret it now. I’m on reserve in Fresno and will be on reserve in Denver starting in December. Denver lost 35 lines to the ERJ and LAX is losing more flying to the ERJ. I have several friends who went ERJ. All of whom had lines in BOI, DEN, LAX within a few months of training.

I flew private charter before this and I’m new to the airlines so take all this with a grain of salt, but I’m a little concerned about the CRJ losing flying and things getting a bit stagnant on this side. I have no idea about ORD, DTW, MSP since I have no interest in going there.

From what I’ve heard they’ll be starting CRJ to ERJ transitions Q1 of 22’ for both seats.

Hello I have a CRJ class day for May. How long ago did you finish class? Is Denver your base of choice? Thanks

Hello, thanks for the information. What exactly does that mean for CRJ pilots? Is the CRJ going away? Why still have classes coming through? Thanks

Gotcha. Would suck to go through the whole training process again, but I suppose it’s an option.

I finished end of October. Phoenix is my base of choice but I don’t know that it will ever happen.
