Because you don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. Trying to find where someone (anyone) said we don't deserve what others have, but that we have negotiated different than they have. Have you been at the bargaining table and can verify we didn't have some of those improvements in mind, only to be responded to with "NO! Next item"
Come to think of it, the 1:4 TAFB soft pay was an item negotiated in 2015, as was the increase in MDG from 4:00 to 4:12. Did it make our trips more efficient? can't say yes, and I can't say no, but it did give our reserves 1 additional day of, but at the cost of 24 minutes less pay per month

Show me where anyone other than management laughs at the thought of not having ready reserve? It's a hell I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. We failed miserably at the rewrite of the ready rules and the only one laughing is chip as he's on the way to the bank with another deposit due to the massive bonus he's gonna get because of that screw job. Where's Macias when we need him

When it stops working we may be able to get better. Yes I've seen 200% in my time here, but it was rare. There are two ways to get the elusive 200%, one is by burning negotiating capital in late 2022, or even into 2023 as the next negotiations (Thank you sir, may I have another?) smackdown happens, or so much 150% doesn't get picked up and our reliability numbers crash that Anita does it on her own without our input. Don't hold your breath for either case.

Yes, but that wasn't even on your list of grievances.

NOW you respond to me why so many trips are not even making it to the 150% tier if as you say no-one has any free time to pick up trips for less than 200%

We didn’t need a Union to “fight for us” for higher pay. The lack of applicants led to management raising the pay rate after we had already signed a new contract.
Never worked for a regional, but don’t underestimate the impact that collective bargaining has had on improvements at the regional level. Yes market forces played a big role, but SkyWest had to up their game to compete for pilots because union shops paved the way by demanding those wages and work rules. SkyWest is a big and well run company. I’d love to see you guys organize and flex the muscle that a pilot group your size has and gain significant improvements for your group, and for others to build on.

I believe OO has a few 900s configured with 65 seats for AA 700 spares right now.

Yes there are those who accuse us of being scabs just by the fact we are not unionized, but by you just throwing that term out there because you've been called out for your lack of knowledge about our PPM shows you've lost the discussion. If you indeed have such a low opinion of your own company pilots I suggest you resign and go to Republic ASAP.
yeah such a low opinion that I want our pilots to have industry leading pay and work rules. How awful of me.

No thanks, we don't need any part of your cult.

Has anyone had any luck getting an earlier class date for being on the waitlist?

Was offered an earlier class date. Was told having an ATP made it easier. Maybe a backup for the CTP classes? Speculation only.

How long from your CJO to the early class date? I have an ATP, so I'm just wondering the likelihood/timeline of getting offered an earlier class.
