I suspect you're right. Must be some kind of mistake with their apps getting buried. In all fairness, I only know of three FO apps and two Cadet apps that have not heard anything after 2+ months since they applied. Everyone else I know heard something back within a 1-2 week timeframe.

Does Skywest Jr Manning mean the same thing as any other junior manning? under the Skywest definition it means getting a phone call and ASKING if you are willing to take a last minute trip at 150% pay. If you are unable or unwilling they say "Thanks for actually answering the phone, Have a nice day"
By you placing it as a first item on your bad things that Skywest does, I'd assume (yep ass-u-me) you think we are being forced to fly on our off days, which hasn't been a thing for so long (decades?) only a very few lifers can claim to have been forced into your inference of what JrMan means. Have you been learning propaganda and obfuscation from politicians or talking heads on CNN, MSNBC and Fox?
Would 200% be better than 150%, yes it would, and it should be something SAPA tries to negotiate as a day of flight incentive. We've screwed ourselves by falling into the115%-130% and 150% tiered system, so until pilots stop picking up trips at the lower incentives the company will keep taking advantage of that.

SkyWest will never get rid of ready reserve. And what Junior Manning? Lol

Even disregarding the no junior manning, I listed 4 other pretty important things. We’re planning on having 7k pilots next year, and we’re not allowed to ask for improvements in the pilot contract that our competitors have had for years now? Seems kind of spineless to me. Why can republic get away with no ready reserve but we cannot?

Why would Skywest need to offer more? They aren’t having any trouble recruiting. Management probably would see it as a waist of money

My guess would be that the new hires are unfamiliar with these issues until they’ve been here for awhile and see their buddies at other airlines dropping and swapping trips, not sitting around at the airport on reserve, and getting travel privileges on the big 3 regardless of where they’re based, also making 200% in open time vs 115%

I think this is very accurate

To reduce attrition. Myself and many others currently hold a CJO to mainline, they’ll need to do something eventually. Yes, they’re having no issues on the hiring side, but attrition numbers are a whole different story.

Delta has really been struggling on training it seems. I’ve had discussions with several of our pilots who had a CJO before covid, still not in class yet.

Does that mean if you're called to "junior man", you're normally getting 115%? Also is open time at 200% offered before the junior manning?

Also I had a question about ready reserve. How often are they and how long do you sit at the airport for each time you're assigned it?

Thanks
