I think they are referring to "buddy bidding" check airman and hoping to be displaced from trips?? That'd be my guess atleast...

He's talking about bidding with check airmen and getting displaced. I know FOs that could routinely do that and credit 160-200 hours a month.

And there are plenty of other FOs never flying, getting paid 90 hours a month.

Enjoy the skywest express seniority & bid the airman.
Upgrade or transition whenever you get bored and can hold a line.

From what I’ve heard, most don’t double dip, they just enjoy the 100 hours of credit and 25 days off.

It sounds sweet, but you’re probably giving up millions of potential earnings playing that game. I guess if you’re married to a breadwinner why not?

The date you attended the cadet orientation counts as your travel seniority date. Haven't started class yet and I bump 3500 people (you can see this on swol)

This forum wouldn’t be the same without you.
Yes sir. So there’s that kind of value there? I didn’t think it was that respectable.

And you’re value too! Thx.

Krill- you are correct about who’s the breadwinner. Creates choices.

I wasn't expecting to get IAH out of training. I'd just like to be there as soon as possible so I don't have to commute. I have no strong desire to fly one airframe over the other, so I was just hoping to pick whatever will get me there the quickest. If I choose CRJ initially, will I be screwed if ERJ FO turns out to be very junior?
