Also avoid metal, it’s substantially heavier.

Not impossible at all, just be ready to solely focus on studying when you get here. Study sheppard air before CTP and if you can get your hands on limitations I'd start looking at those but it's not necessary. It's better to wait and study the correct info than studying wrong items.

You’re probably young so you have forty whatever years ahead of you sitting in a hotel room completing Q3 CBTs and (while you’re at it) studying some limitations for the (seemingly always) just around the corner CQ.

I was initially given late November ATP-CTP with E175 groundschool beginning in December. I received another email a few hours later that I had been moved into the October classes.
I filled out the form from the initial email, considering emailing or calling the recruiter for more info, would that be overkill? It does say they’ll start sending more within 90 days of start date so I figure I’ll just sit tight for now and let them go through the process of background checks and all the other logistics.

Hey! I just started my aviation career and I found these forums, so I figured I might be able to grab some insight into my potential new life! I'm just about to get all of my ratings and am looking into a few places to start my career up. I've heard that Skywest might be starting a direct entry captains and was wondering how that would work. I know I'd probably have to start as an FO though. But thanks for the advice in advance!
