Can anyone comment on how the split between CRJ's is determined in training? Assuming you are either qualified on the CRJ2 or CRJ7/9, correct? Would like to make a semi-informed decision if they ask on Friday what airframe I'd have a preference for (ERJ vs CRJ)...assuming I make it through the interview okay...
I apologize if I missed it somewhere in this thread.

If you fly the CRJ you'll be qualified to fly all three variants assuming you get the needed training. Which most everyone does. Different domiciles have different amounts of flying between the three. DFW and PHX are almost all 700. SLC has a lot of 200.

Ahh, that's different. I know at least one other regional separates them so that is good to know. Thank you!

At Compass I was commuting from PHX to LAX (while waiting to hold PHX) and it wasn’t bad at all, especially with company metal flying the routes. Getting back home later in the day was tough sometimes.

AAs 175 will be coming starting in the Fall. Still unknown where they'll exactly be going.
